Hey Soccer people!

Today I heard a very special anoucment about the best footballer award! well this morning I was listening to the radio and they announced that Christiano Ronaldo of Manchester United won the best footballer award. Just think out of all the good players in football (soccer) you won the best footballer award!

About Ronaldo

Ronaldo was signed by Man United in 2003 12.2 million pounds (24.31 million). He was born on in Madeira, Portugal on February 9 1985. He is a winger for Manchester United. He joined Man United on the August 12 03.

Hey Guys and Girls!

Through the year we had a lot of exciting things happen in our class room, there was also some up’s and downs it class.

Any way we first started our blog in October 08. But now it’s June 09. That’s nine months of blogging. (Wow!)  Here’s a list of some things I remember!

Hey people! Okay you know how my friend Nic and I play soccer? Well today I am going to tell you a little story about the first time I met my friend Nic ! Well the first time we met it was at a soccer try out for our rep team. I knew he was knew and everything but then the next week I found out he was in my class! My teacher asked who wants to show him around the school I put my hand up right away! Some of my friends didn’t really know him but about four of them did because they also saw him at the soccer try outs.

A few weeks later we found out who made the rep team and luckly Nic and I bothh did! For about eight months we played on the same team and for now about ten months Nic and I have been really good friends.

Hey Guys The last two weeks have been a blast for my class because we had some very specail guest from Germany and Vancouver. The business one of them named Josh worked for Arts Umbrella and the other lady named Francesca was from Germany she was a volunteer.

They showed us how to work with a project named the glocal Project .Honestly I don’t know what the glocal project is but if you look on the website you can learn all about it. Any way it was so much fun to learn all about the systems and the neat web cams.

Over the weeks the the people from arts Umbrella worked with two classes for our school and two classes from another school named Highland.

We took at least One Hundred pictures a day for two weeks but we only got to pick one photo.

This photo is one of my favorites because it is a spiral of my shoe.I like it because it really shows my favorite sports brand.

What I am trying to do is to get everyone’s feed back on my picture because I want to see how I can improve my photographs.

The Stand

It’s big and everyone is looking at you while your at the stand. You sower on a bible.  You walk up. The first question is asked. “Did you murder that man”.You obviously say: “No didn’t ever know him”.  You are very nerves and you start sweating, Drip,Drip,Drip. Everyone is looking at you and you are try not to confess and then the lawyers say ” No more questions your honer”. You are relieved, and then the judge says “Please step down from the stand”

The Witnesses

Every time your in court they always is a witness. In court the witness says they saw what they did. Not all of them saw what they saw tho. For example, Your getting accused for harming someone and a witness said they saw you do it. If you did harm the person you know the story but in this case this witness said that you hurt the person physically and you think to your self, I didn’t even hurt him like that.  Sometimes the witness lies to get you to go to jail because maybe he/she doesn’t like you very much.

 The Judge

This role in court is very powerful and stressful. The thing that is stressful is you have to do is get everyone to calm down.You also have to keep peace in the court room. You also get to say what goes.

Court Clerk

The Court clerk is the assistant to the judge. He/she is to call order in the court. And if you have evidence you have to make a promiseto tell the truth. The Court Clerk makes the schedule such as he/she tells everyone when the court is and what time is starts.

The Court Office

The court officer is a big part in a court room. He makes sure everyone is safe. He brings the witness up and down from the stand. He is just like a police officer but he is responsible for the lives in the court room.

What is it like in a Canadian Court Room

Canadian court rooms are a lot different than American court rooms such as in a Canadian court room you are innocent until prov inguilty. In American court rooms you are guilty the whole way unless you are prov in innocent.

Hey people today I am going to tell you about my favortie band, and guess what they are canadian. They are Vancovers own Marianas Trench. They are my favorite band because I really like their kind of rock muisc.

Over the past two weekends the U13 boys from Comox have won two championships. First, it was the Upper Island and now it was the Island. The Upper Island my brother scored the only goal and the winning goal. In the Island Cup they won 3-2. My brother got an assist on the winning goal.

But now in the summer comes their biggest challenge yet. The Province Cup. This championship is do or die. Either you win the game or you go home. For one week they have to face the hardest teams in British Columbia. They have to put their heart and souls into this tournament. I can’t wait to see when they bring home the gold.

A hero is born not made. They can be describing in many ways. Heroes can cheer someone up when there down. Or they can save someone in distress. Heroes can a friend or a relative. Maybe you think you don’t have a hero. But the truth is you know you do!

Maybe you have a few heroes. One could be your mom or dad maybe even your brother or sister.Your hero(s) could be famous or they could be someone you just met. Heroes are everywhere.
